As part of President Biden’s $1.9 trillion emergency relief bill, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), states are receiving $39 billion for childcare relief, and Oklahoma has received $360 million in funding to allocate as grants to licensed child care programs.

Any OKDHS-licensed childcare program is eligible for an ARPA grant.

Our goal is to provide as many Oklahoma care programs as much funding as possible. So long as a provider is licensed with OKDHS, they are eligible to be awarded an ARPA grant. Grant size varies based upon childcare size and operating expenses.

OKDHS reviews the application

OKDHS approves the application

Child care program is notified of approval via email

Step 05

Payment will be delivered in 2-4 weeks after the application period ends and your application has been approved.
